 Gone but Never Forgotten
Fergi - Yorkie Princess

FERGI DAYTON
March 3, 1996 - January 13, 2010

Fergi left her Mom and Dad on January 13, 2009.  Fergi loved everyone she met but had no interest in socializing with other fluffy butt, or the commoners, as she called them.  Fergi was almost 14 years young when she left but she has certainly left her mark on her little corner of the world.  We love you and miss you, Fergi.  I'll take care of your Mom for you.

Nina-Mouse is a former FluffyButts kid who was adopted 4 short years ago with her brother, Angus.  Shannon, Ross, and Megan gave this little girl everything.  Nina fought the good fight against "The Big C" for 10 months and was a little trooper the whole time, through all the chemo and radiation.  We will never forget this wonderful, amazing little girl.

I love you, Nina-Mouse.

Nina-Mouse - We miss you

APRIL 11-2010:  I'm so sorry to tell you that Sherman the Tank passed away on Sunday.  I was just looking at his adoption photos and am completely astounded at the life and change of my little angel.  I wanted to send you some photos of his journey, our journey, and thank you for the work that you do.  You gave me the greatest love of my life in Sherman.  We had 3 1/2 years together, and I truly believe that I saved his life and he saved mine.  I will always feel that he was taken far to soon - he had a bigger love of his life and excitement for every single day than anything I have seen before - every day was Christmas for him.

Sweet Sherman the Tank

Sherman started his 2nd chance with myself and two wonderful roommates.  He was never home alone, always being held, taken outside, and played with.  The vets told us not to get attached when we brought him home, and within a few months they were shocked, telling us that he is a shining example of what love and care can do for an animal.  He went from sleeping 20 - 22 hours a day, to going for walks, playing with toys, exploring outside and having an energy I never thought I would see in him.  One of the most amazing and tender qualities he had was how clearly he communicated his undying appreciation and love for his new mom and new life.

The last three months of Sherman's all too short life were spent in the tropics - Miami Florida.  We spent our time down there basking in the beautiful sun, playing in the long grass, exploring the beach, and not missing the cold and snow.  I wanted to share photos with you that show the change.  You make lives like his possible.  You are the reason he had a chance.  Thank you.  I have been looking at doggies you have up for adoption now - so many sweet pups.  I will post Apollo's donation information on my facebook page and email all the big hearted people I know.  My prayers are with him as he faces this challenge.  If there is one thing Sherman taught me (besides what a blessing he was) it is that these little one's are fighters, tougher than almost anything or anyone in the world.  I would love to send more photos if you are interested.  Thank you again for all that you do.

With love,

Shana
